ALOE FOR MOCHA SKIN CARE PRODUCTS FOR ETHNIC SKIN EXPANDS NATIONAL REACH WITH NEW DISTRIBUTION PARTNERSHIP

New York City, N.Y.— July 26, 2010 – AloeForMocha skin care products, a nature-based premium skincare suite of products designed specifically for dark tones announced today their official partnership with Sherrell Dorsey, notable beauty writer and licensed skin therapist to distribute AloeforMocha™ throughout the North East territory.

"My associates and I are extremely excited to have been chosen to represent this high quality, paraben-free product line that specifically targets the skin issues of people of color," stated Sherrell Dorsey, a licensed esthetician and beauty writer for MySalonScoop.com, Examiner.com and OrganicBeautyVixen.com. "AloeForMocha sets the standard for natural beauty options for ethnic skin and we know that customers will be excited about these products."

The AloeforMocha™ product line includes cleansers, toners, moisturizers and lip and eye treatments for dry, normal, oily and combination skin types. Each of the products is based on a formula that utilizes natural, earth-friendly Aloe Vera combined with a proprietary mix of both natural and advanced ingredients designed specifically to address the issues associated with African American skin. "As an African American woman with mocha-toned skin, I often wondered why it was so difficult to find skin care formulated for my skin rather than the "one-size fits all" product offerings commonly marketed. I created the AloeforMocha™ line to answer this question" commented Danna K. Johnston, the founder of AloeforMocha™.

"Sherrell's background as an esthetician and her focus on natural and organic products is perfect to represent our brand," continued Johnston.

AloeforMocha products are designed to specifically address issues associated with darker skin tones such as: Hyper-pigmentation; Dull/Ashy Skin; and Sensitive Skin.

Hyper-pigmentation. Darker skin tends to have a very pronounced response to skin trauma such as inflammation caused by acne, exposure to UV rays, and hormonal changes. The response is an increase in the amount of melanin released to the skin's surface. This excess melanin release is a condition called hyper-pigmentation which is evidenced by dark spots and overall uneven skin tone. These effects can last on darker skin for years. We utilize a proprietary blend of ingredients that leverage the brightening power of natural botanicals such as licorice extract and Vitamin C to naturally inhibit hyper-pigmentation and even out the skin tone. Our products achieve this desired result of bright, even-toned skin without using harsher, more controversial brightening agents such as hydroquinone which is found in many brightening products, and which may produce toxic effects on the skin.

Dry, Dull and Ashy Skin. A major complaint of people with darker tones is that the skin can easily become dry and, as a result, take on a dull, ashy and flaky appearance. Our products address these conditions through a proprietary blend of ingredients that includes hydrating shea butter and hyaluronic acid (which is a naturally occurring agent found in abundance in young skin) that binds moisture in the atmosphere to the skin's surface. The result is skin that is hydrated, soft and supple.

Sensitive Skin. A common trait of darker skin is that it tends to be more sensitive than fairer skin tones which often leads to varying degrees of aggravation associated with the application of many of the skin care products on the market. This is due to the fact that these products contain either isopropyl alcohol or propylene glycol both of which can irritate darker skin. We address sensitive skin issues by avoiding these common irritants and, instead using: (i) powerful antioxidants such as green tea; (ii) healing ingredients such as natural aloe vera, and (iii) anti-inflammatory botanicals such as licorice extract. The effect of our proprietary blend of ingredients is a soothing or calming sensation.
